Founded in 2006, the family-owned and -operated StarView Vineyards became the sixth winery to join the scenic Shawnee Hills Wine Trail. Open daily, year-round, seven days a week for wine tastings, StarView Vineyards serves homemade food at their café, welcomes 4-legged friends, and features live music on the weekends.

Meet the Dynamic Duo of StarView Vineyards
Owners Brett and Regina Morrison love growing grapes and sharing their wine creations with both residents and visitors of the Shawnee Hills American Viticulture Area. Since 1998, Brett has been honing his wine skills, and in 2015 and 2016, he was awarded Viticulturist of the Year by the Illinois Grape Growers & Vintners Alliance.
Regina also serves on the Executive Board for the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail and remains highly involved in the wine community throughout the region.
The Land
Nestled in the Shawnee Hills of Southern Illinois, StarView Vineyards sits on land that's ripe for the picking. The federal government has specifically identified the Shawnee Hills American Viticulture Area as a grape-growing region.
The Wines
StarView Vineyards grows eight varieties of grapes, including Native American and French American Hybrid ones. Close to 90% of the wine they make comes from grapes grown directly on the nearly 7.5-acre vineyard. A few of the grapes you will find at StarView Vineyards include:

The Venue
StarView Vineyards event space is run out of a restored barn featuring a spacious deck. From meeting up with friends to celebrating with family, you can book your next private event here too. The venue offers seating for up to 100 people and a heated and cooled area equipped with private bathrooms as well as a personal bartender to bring the experience to light. Our tasting room was built in 2006.
Wine Pairings at StarView Vineyards
After you pick your next glass or bottle to share, you can choose from the mouth-watering menu options available at StarView Vineyards. Start with an appetizer, like the creamy Spinach and Artichoke Dip, or pair your vino, with a classic Cheese Plate. Feeling hungrier? Try the Parmesano Pasta Salad or the Chipotle Turkey Sandwich.

If you want more of StarView Vineyards in your life, you can join their Wine Club. With three membership options, you can pick the one that best suits your wine wants. Not only will you enjoy member-only table reservations, but you'll also have the chance to pick the wines that match your palate. The Wine Club options include:
